Of course San Salvador being an island and all, surrounded by beautiful warm turquoise waters you should plan on being in the water a lot of the time. There are amazing coral reefs right off the beach of the Blue house so you don't need to go far to enjoy a leisurely snorkeling expedition!.
Take a scooter ride around he island! This really a blast, explore all the secluded hidden wonders of San Sal like Pigeon Creek on the South East side of the island and then cruise up to the light house and take in the awesome view!
The coral reefs, sea life and the wall all make for some amazing diving! (Photo courtesy of The Riding Rock)
Give Keith (on the right) or Kate a call at 1-242-331-2125 to book your scooter. My children loved it!
Gary Hannah (top center) runs boat tours of the outer cays (small islands). He can also, if your lucky spearfish a catch for you and prepare it in the traditional Bahamian way! We have never experienced this unfortunately, but some of our guests have raved about it! Call Gary at xxx-xxx-xxxx
This is a shot of two of the cays. iguana Cay is a nature preserve inhabited by rare Bahamian iguanas. There is also a cay that is a bird sanctuary that is home and breeding ground for two exotic type of birds.

Although I haven't done it, you can also go Deep Sea Fishing contact the Riding Rock Marina (see top) and they can probably refer to a charter boat. The big game fishing around San Salvador is really amazing!
Check out some rainbows, although I can't guarantee it I've seen a rainbow nearly every time I've been to San Salvador.
Or you can just relax. I love when vacation spots tell you that, yea no kidding you can relax anywhere, although relaxing at the Blue house is more relaxing.
more to come!
